![]() ![]() So each team scored themselves, which worked fine for us, but one scorekeeper would have been ideal. Initially I had planned on scoring everyone myself, but our internet connections weren’t great, so I couldn’t always see everyone’s answers. Each team wrote their answer on a white board and then on the count of 3 everyone revealed their answers at the same time. The teams took turns choosing their category and point value. We went with a Jeopardy style game, with 6 different categories and 5 levels of difficulty. I discovered a cute shop in Lebanon that has a bunch of HP items if you are local and looking for a trinket to use as a prize, check them out here. Prizes are optional, of course, but it was the first thing the kids wanted to know when we started playing.Make sure each family/team has a whiteboard and marker or paper and pen and a unique team name.A few families even prepared their own Harry Potter themed snacks to munch on while they played! Zoom allows you to set your own background with any picture you choose, so I hosted the game from Dumbledore’s office. ![]() Atmosphere – We gave 100 extra points for teams in costume.Game board – I wish I had taken a better picture to share… you’ll have to create your own, sorry!.Questions and answers are below – feel free to use them as is or edit as you please! I tried to organize them by difficulty, but a few were easier/harder than I anticipated. Confession time: I read the books when Isla did last year, but did not really like them. Questions – I collected questions from a few different trivia sites online. So if any others out there are as Harry Potter obsessed as our kids… and getting as bored with lockdown as ours are, here’s everything you need to host your own HP quiz night. Obviously that didn’t happen, but that same friend had the great idea of having it virtually on Zoom, and it was so much fun! A friend asked if we’d consider doing a Harry Potter themed night and opening it up to all ages, so we were planning on it during spring break.
